Consumer organisations in Lithuania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Switzerland1 have announced that they will collect claims of car owners affected by the Volkswagen emissions scandal to demand compensation in court. Since the scandal broke, The European Consumer Organisation (BEUC) and its member organisations, national consumer groups, have been working together to hold VW accountable for its fraudulent practices and to compensate consumers.
