Consumer behaviour is a make-or-break factor for the success of this effort.
In this paper, we describe how changes to EU automotive policy can benefit consumers. BEUC's advocacy focuses on the need to:
- Bring the benefits of electric driving to people
- Remove regulatory flexibilities
- Make car charging convenient
- Better inform consumers when they buy a car
