The Austrian Federal Chamber of Labour (AK) represents the mutual interests of more than 3.4 million workers to government and business.
As a legal representative, the Chamber of Labour is responsible for the employment, training, qualification and integration of its members in the labour market. In addition, AK represents workers in a variety of topics, including labour, social law and consumer protection.
Success Stories
Arbeiterkammer brought a court case against a bank related to misleading information in a sales brochure for financial products. Following a ruling by Austria’s highest Court which upheld our view that the information was misleading, 3,600 investors were able to recover €13 million between 2010 and 2011.
